I confess part of me wants the protesters to get sick, especially those that desecrate statues, burn businesses and break the backs of those hard working people that have their lives invested in their businesses. I hope they get real sick. And, lots of them. Ax, I'm ahead of your "what about Trump rallies" question, which I'm sure would be coming. No, I don't want any patriots to get sick. Frankly, after watching the Trump crowds, I might suggest Jenny Craig so they don't get sick later in life. I think pound for pound, Trump rallies have the street protesters beat.

Beef Fizz? Ewww. Aqua, my neighbor is the first American born generation of his Italian family. He makes his mom’s all-day Sunday gravy with meatballs and sausage. It is the finest I have ever had. I think he would have to whack me if I ever got the recipe. Omerta.

First rule of a gunfight: Have a gun. Second rule of a gunfight: There are no second place winners. Third rule of a gunfight: Avoid a gunfight at almost all costs. If you carry, carry something you will always have with you. Have something in a big enough caliber to stop a fight. And never voluntarily put yourself in a position where you have to draw your weapon.

In fairness to them, they've been in a very secure bubble and haven't had to change for a good 70 years. But funnily enough, their time is coming, too. They're going to get bought up in about 5 years and become completely irrelevant. That is something I'd place a great deal of money on. Formal talks and first steps are already happening.

Obama spent his 8 years in office politicizing and weaponizing all government agencies. Trump bashers run around yapping about how Trump "might" try to not leave office and set himself up as a dictator, in spite of the fact that there's zero evidence to support such a claim, while the evidence is overwhelming that this is exactly what Obama and the democrats were doing - not to set up an individual as dictator, but to establish the Democrat party as dictator.

One thing I have seen is graphs showing usage over time of all these terms in the NYT. What you see can only be described as a coordinated rollout that basically began with the second Obama term, This guy is a PhD student who studies the movement critically, A good twitter follow. Here’s a graph he put out last week, I’ve seen dozens like it from him. But no electoral waves. Just relentless increase. https://twitter.com/ZachG932/status/1273108129190944768?s=20

I have not see one Biden ad. Almost all my YouTube videos have Trump ads. Maybe we are both being targeted?

@taiwan_girl said in U.S. Citizen?: related but different. I know that President Trump talked in the past about looking into ending citizenship just because you were born in the US, regardless of the circumstance. I actually agree that this should be looked at. Yes, many people over many years have wanted this looked at. I wonder why it is never looked at?

Not to worry, TG. You will pretty much run the world. If you don't wanna drink, you won't have to. We'll just roll you a doobie at breakfast, you'll be ready for a Trumpian type day. Was there a topic for this thread, or did I completely ruin it. Sorry. My almost sincerest apologies.

An aside... I saw "Blazing Saddles" in a theater when it came out in, what, 1976, 1977? I remember the gal I was dating at the time. Mary Anne was her name. The theater was in a...well, let's say it was not "diverse" neighborhood. When that line came in the movie, we could both hear the guy behind us comment, "That's NOT funny."
